Celebrating 20 Years

Celebrating 20 Years
Have this post read to you in a natural voice:

Engage with passion. Design with reason. Code with precision. Partner with Eternity.

20 years ago, our Founder Mike Lannen made it his mission to make the web a better place.

During his time at Champlain College, Mike first majored in PC Support, eventually switching to Web Development when it was offered for the very first time during his sophomore year.

From the humble beginning in his college dorm room in 2000, Mike began building the roots for his company, now known as Eternity.

After developing a large client base, Mike decided to leave Champlain College to pursue growing the business full-time.

Eternity is a full-service web design, development, and digital marketing company.

Throughout the years, one thing has not changed, which is our focus on creating an engaging and impactful website that helps businesses and non-profits greatly increase their online presence.

We have spent 20 years practicing this, and we are incredibly proud of the progress and success our clients notice when working with us.

The biggest driving force in our continued success is Mike’s passion for the work, and for helping others. He focuses on what is important, including the donation of over 500 hours per year of pro-bono work to local organizations. Through hard work and dedication, Mike has created jobs, contributed to the community, and provided valuable service.

“Eternity was a godsend for our organization. Having struggled mightily with another vendor through three missed deadlines, we put out a call for help and Mike and his team answered. We asked for an unrealistic deadline and they nailed it. The process was so smooth and the end result was a high-functioning, easy-to-use website with all the bells and whistles we asked for.”

We would not be where we are today if it wasn’t for our committed team members. We will be recognizing our 20 years of success in more ways than one. We felt our team was deserving of a company dinner at the Junction, Essex Inn Resort & Spa. They work hard to provide our clients with an exceptional experience, and we want to show them how much we appreciate their dedication.

After 20 years of successful web development, it seemed appropriate to develop a new and improved website for ourselves. We launched an all-new website on December 11th. Make sure to check it out and give us your feedback!

Last but not least, Eternity is proud to announce a giveaway. We will be donating one website to a local non-profit. Inspiration for the giveaway came from Mike himself.

“I want to bring it back to where it all began, in a college dorm room at Champlain College. The main reason that I focused on non-profits was that there was not a web development major at Champlain College. I wanted to learn how to make websites in the real world and I saw a lot of non-profits that were missing a website. Because of my community background and experience with Boy Scouts, it was the perfect match. We continue to work with amazing non-profits today and really enjoy helping them make an impact in the community.”

- Mike Lannen, Founder of Eternity

Our giveaway winner will be chosen based on specific qualifications and will be announced by the end of January. We are thrilled to be able to give back to the community that supports our every move.

We reside in a unique place, one with incredible clients, employees, and partners. Thank you for all that you do for us, you are the foundation of our success. With your support, you are helping us make the web a better place.

From all of us at Eternity, thank you!
