On January 10th our crew grew once more, with the addition of Jena Durell as Google Ads Intern. Jena will be assisting Shawna Shortsleeve with Google Ads management, and is looking forward to helping Eternity’s clients grow their businesses through Google Ads.
After a 12-year career in healthcare, working in nutrition, the operating room, and orthopedics, Jena was looking for a change like many were when the pandemic hit. She applied to and was accepted into the Burlington Code Academy’s Full Stack Web Development Boot Camp. After graduation, she worked as a developer for Finsiteful, a startup intended to help college students manage their finances. She is excited about the many facets of the Google Ads Intern role as it represents a unique opportunity to bring her many diverse skills together, as well as ample opportunity for continued learning and growth.
Jena is originally from just outside of Philadelphia. Her family moved to Vermont just after her high school graduation, a decision she questioned at the time but quickly grew to understand. The outdoors are a necessity for Jena. If there is a moment of free time and halfway decent weather, she will find an opportunity to hike, snowboard, run or whatever else is on the table. She got a 110mm Fisher Price camera for her 7th birthday and has been an avid photographer ever since. Jena has lived in Burlington, Vermont for a little over fifteen years. She and her husband, Jake, brought a pandemic puppy into their lives at the end of April 2020. Carter is roughly half pyrenees and half german shepherd and a full - on gentle giant. The three of them are planning to move to the Northeast Kingdom in the near future for more quality outdoor time together and to be closer to family
