Videographer

Eternity, located in Downtown Burlington, VT is looking for a fun new full-time crew member to join our dynamic team. 

The role of Videographer requires being passionate about always learning, a desire to help humans, love working with people and being a storyteller through visuals. We work with such clients as Ski Vermont, Brave Coffee, Vermont Surrogacy Network, Michael's on the Hill, Vermont Maple and many more. 

We prefer candidates with experience in working from home, but must be located in Vermont.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos for both internal and client projects. Though the work will be primarily video heavy.

Ample onboarding and training will be provided directly by our Founder, Mike Lannen.

Communication is key. You should love helping people and be great at talking with and responding to clients. You must be able to work collaboratively with and take direction from both clients and our crew.

While this position is remote for the foreseeable future, we will require applicants to be located in Vermont. This is because we will require on location shooting throughout the state. But you will be able to work fully remote while not filming and optionally use the office for projects or editing if you need a change of scenery.

Full-Time Position:

• 40 hours per week
• M-F; Flex work schedule available
• Remote work while not filming
• Position available October 2023 (but flexible)

Day-to-Day Tasks Include:

• Conduct interviews and capture raw footage (videography and photography) on set and on location
  
• Assist with planning, strategy and scripting with clients as needed
• Edit footage, add graphics, special effects, and closed captioning to enhance the video
• Output video content for various social channel sizes
• Maintain and calibrate all equipment
• Collaborate with other crew members

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Founder, Mike and collaborative team to plan, film, and edit video content
• Set up and operate various production equipment including cameras, microphones, and lighting
• Collaborate with team members and clients to meet project objectives
  

Requirements:

• College degree NOT required
• Reliable transportation for traveling on location (travel reimbursed)
• Strong creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and multitask
• Technical acumen to operate, configure, and set up video, audio, and lighting equipment
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar
• Comfortable helping clients with scripting and planning of videos
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Physical ability to move and hold recording equipment for long periods
• Ridiculously outstanding customer service
• Friendly, lots of positive energy, very empathetic
• Expert listener
• Very organized
• Able to manage a large volume of projects efficiently

Ideal:

• Experience with Descript is a plus+
• Experience with Trello, Slack and Google Drive
• Experience with motion graphics and animation
• A love of building systems and procedures
