Tanager Lodge

Tanager Lodge has been in business for over 90 years and remains unique among camps. It is small and personal, with a maximum of 48 campers and over 20 staff members. It is along a mile of shoreline on Upper Chateaugay Lake in the Adirondacks and is a place where children experience the joy of belonging to a diverse and interdependent community in a wilderness setting. They offer a progressive, noncompetitive, six-week program that emphasizes building skills and friendships through work and play in the natural world.

Tanager Lodge wanted us to build them a website that represented what they're all about, discovering the joy of being in nature. We utilized art assets, as well as pieces of their logo to give it an earthy vibe. Being a summer camp, we really wanted to convey the tones of fun and exciting.
