Tanager Lodge has been in business for over 90 years and remains unique among camps. It is small and personal, with a maximum of 48 campers and over 20 staff members. It is along a mile of shoreline on Upper Chateaugay Lake in the Adirondacks and is a place where children experience the joy of belonging to a diverse and interdependent community in a wilderness setting. They offer a progressive, noncompetitive, six-week program that emphasizes building skills and friendships through work and play in the natural world.

Our role
Tanager Lodge wanted us to build them a website that represented what they're all about; discovering the joy of being in nature. We utilized art assets, as well as pieces of their logo to give it an earthy vibe. Being a summer camp, we really wanted to convey the tones of fun and exciting.
